Registration for the Kick-Off Tent are sold out. Please note that this is the only event that is ticketed. All other events are open for all families to attend, regardless of registration. We do ask that if you are unable to register online at the Family Nest, that you email us at studentengagement@cua.edu so that we can ensure your family is on our list!

- Upon arrival on campus, please come to the Pryzbyla Center 2nd Floor Lobby for check-in.
  - Parking is available across campus as we will not be ticketing this weekend. It is advised to park in the McMahon Lot or the parking garage found on John McCormack Road.
1:00 - 4:00 pm | Academic Showcases
- 1:00 - 2:00 pm | Busch School of Business
  - Come by the Busch School of Business, and learn about the Finance Lab, the student-run investment fund, some ways we use AI in our teaching and research, and our Catholic investing-related initiatives.
  - Located in Maloney Hall 207
- 1:00 - 2:00 pm | College of Engineering, Physics and Computing
  - Visit the College of Engineering, Physics, and Computing to explore our state-of-the-art makerspace, meet members of our student-run engineering and computer science organizations, and see firsthand how our students bring ideas to life through exciting, multidisciplinary design projects.
  - Located in Makerspace (Pangborn 111A), Student Organizations (Pangborn Hall First Floor Lobby), and Student Design Center (Pangborn 200)

  - The School of Architecture and Allied Arts will host its session in the Crough Lobby showcasing student design projects created with CAD- CAM, CNC routing, 3D scanning, and wood shop lab.

  - Join us in the 3rd floor Simulation Lab for a hands-on skills assessment & demonstration, featuring Conway School of Nursing students.

  - Mullen Library Special Collections: History and Treasures. Please join Shane MacDonald, Curator of Digital and Museum Collections, and Sally Kendrick, Rare Books Librarian, for a tour of the University Libraries' Special Collections.

  - Parents are invited to a presentation that dives into clinical coursework at Catholic U, featuring partnership highlights and insights into the academic clinical placement experience.

  - The College of Arts & Sciences invites you to visit McMahon Hall and learn more about what's to come this academic year! Explore programs and talk to students and faculty from each of the Divisions and Schools within the college: Integrated Sciences; Humanities; Social Science; Politics: Policy and Global Affairs; and the Benjamin T. Rome School of Performing Arts.

5:45 - 9:30 pm | FNE: Frassati Fest
- This inaugural “Frassati Night Events (FNE): Frassati Fest” kicks off what we hope will become a beloved tradition at CUA. Held on Friday evening during Family Weekend, this event offers a unique window into campus ministry for both students and visiting families.
- All are welcome to join us for an evening that begins with Ledo’s pizza, Coffee House-style music performed by students, along with lawn games, card and board games, and rosary making for a relaxed and enjoyable time. The night concluded with an outdoor Eucharistic Holy Hour featuring student-led praise and worship music, and Confessions, offering a beautiful, prayerful snapshot of what makes faith life at CUA so special.

6:30 - 7:30 pm | Phi Eta Sigma Induction Ceremony & Reception
- Students invited to join the Phi Eta Sigma First-Year Honor Society will be inducted at a ceremony in the Pryzbyla Center Great Rooms followed by a reception.

- Begin your Family Weekend Saturday with daily Mass in the beautiful St. Paul Chapel, located in historic Caldwell Hall.

9:30 - 10:30 am | Coffee with Academic Deans and Affinity Groups
- Join us for coffee and conversation with University Deans and affinity groups. This gathering offers an opportunity to learn more about academic programs and connect with the communities that enrich the Catholic University
  - Located in Caldwell Auditorium
10:00 am - 11:30 am | Family Memento Photos
- Stop by this picturesque campus location to pose for a keepsake photo with your family. Digital copies will be sent to families via email by the end of October. This is the perfect timing for your holiday photos!
  - Located at the Columbus School of Law Courtyard
10:30 am - 1:00 pm | Shuttle Service
- We will be offering a shuttle service from Maloney Hall and the Pryzbyla Center to the DuFour Athletic Center. Pick-up will be behind Maloney(closest to the Metro), which can be accessed by an elevator in the building. The second stop will be in front of Garvey Hall, behind the Pryzbyla Center(1st floor).This shuttle will drop you off in front of the DuFour Athletic Center by the check-in tents for the Cardinal Kick-Off Party Tent.
11:00 am | Men's & Women's Tennis
- Cheer on the Cardinals as they compete against Frostburg at the DuFour Center Tennis Courts
11:00 am - 1:00 pm | Cardinal Kick-off Party Tent
- Enjoy food, showcase performances by some student organizations, lawn games,and more at our kick-off party! Tickets to this event include entrance to the football game. Registration for this event can be found here.
- Tickets are limited and not available at the door. All attending persons in your party must be registered at the event, including your student.
  - If you are planning to only watch the showcase and not attending the tent party, you must purchase a football ticket here. All individuals entering the DuFour Athletic Center must have tickets for one of the events.
- Located at the DuFour Athletic Center on John McCormack Road in the tent to the left of the football field. Check-in will be at the main entrance of the DuFour Athletic Center.
1:00 pm | CatholicU Football vs. Juniata University
- Cheer on the Cardinals! Tickets for the football game are available for purchase at the door for those who did not purchase tickets to the Cardinal Kick-Off Party Tent.
- Located at the DuFour Athletic Center on John McCormack Road.
  - Parking for this event in the DuFour tailgate lot is separate from our event. You may be asked to pay a parking fee.
1:00 pm | Catholic U Women's Soccer vs. Wilkes
- Cheer on the Cardinals and celebrate the seniors at Senior Day!
  - No ticket is required to attend this game.
- Located at Carlini Field (4900 Bates Road NE)
3:30 - 5:00 pm | Shuttle Service

- Families are invited to pray the rosary together in Mary’s Garden at the kickoff of the new Parent’s Council Rosary Prayer Group. Rooted in the rich tradition of intercessory prayer, the rosary offers families a powerful way to pray for their children and support one another in faith.

8:00 - 10:30 pm | Family Game Night
- Family Game Night will feature rounds of bingo! There are many prizes to be won! Refreshments will be provided.
- Located in the Pryzbyla Center Great Room.

- Located in the Pryzbyla Center Great Room
12:00 - 1:00 pm | Farewell Coffee and Doughnuts
- Stay after Mass for coffee, pastries, and a final opportunity to mingle with other students, families, and Catholic U staff.
- Refreshments will be available in the Pryzbyla Atrium outside the Great Room or in The Nest, down the hall from the Great Room past Starbucks.
